Sunset has a feature with front yard makeovers I really like. The first picture shows the staggered wall effect I was interested in for the front. Kevin points out a six foot wall won't do anything for the shade.
The second picture shows stained concrete which we are interested in using.
Third one is a Home front facade - This gives a kind of wall in the front of the home - Sunset.com
