This shop has completely caught my imagination! I love their work, it is very au courant. I love the idea of supporting someone in China who is being so fabulously capitalistic! Even going through the listings is an experience, there is poetry in each listing.

Designers I like - Tord Boontje

I have come so close to buying this metal garland/lamp thing so many times. It is on sale right now at Modern Poverty . I just keep thinking it will be one of those purchases that won't quite turn out. But I think his work is fabulous. I have similarly spent long hours over his Icarus lamp or his Before Dawn Curtains.

When I was cruising Etsy I came across papercut artists, and the aesthetic is similar to me.

I ordered from this shop not too long ago, but have my eye on this paper cut as well.. Just don't know where I would put it.

Wow this picture is so little. Anyway, there is a giveaway on this person's blog and she wanted people to pick their favorite from her shop to win the prize. This is my favorite. This ring makes me think of a ring we saw in Napa for thousands of dollars that Kevin will buy me someday when we are done buying more important things.
